How to Use Our Forecourt

Instructions on how to refuel your vehicle using the Peak Oil 24/7 Forecourt.

We have received a number of enquiries regarding usage of our diesel pumps. In case you do not know already, our forecourt is open to the public 24/7 and you can pay at the pump using Credit, Debit and Account cards. The instructions below will explain step by step how to refuel you vehicle:

Step 1

Park your vehicle next to the appropriate pump.

Pump 1 dispenses Red Diesel, also known as Gas Oil.  It is used for vehicles in agriculture, construction, quarrying, forestry and shipping.  You can find out about red diesel here.

Pump 2 dispenses Super Diesel, also known as Derv, which may be used in any diesel engine.

Step 2

Insert your card

Insert your card in the payment terminal, which is located between the two pumps. Remove your card when prompted.

Step 3

Choose spending limit

Accept, or increase the drawing limit eg. £50.00, £100.00 etc.  Then press accept limit to proceed.

Step 4

Enter pin number

Enter the pin number and press the enter key.

Step 5

Enter registration plate number (Optional)

Enter the registration number of your vehicle and press the enter key.

Step 6

Select pump

If Derv is required change from pump 1 to pump 2 by pressing the top silver button indicated by the arrow on the display until it reads 2. Accept the change by pressing the bottom silver button.

Step 7

Draw fuel

Draw fuel.

Step 8

Obtain reeipt

If a receipt is required put your card back into the card reader and press print receipt.

 

Please note:- You can refuel within the maximum spending limit you have accepted in step 2. If you do not use all of the authorised limit, the difference will be refunded by your bank within two working days.  For example, if you choose a limit of £100.00 and your vehicle only takes £80.00 worth the remaining £20.00 will be credited back to you.
